Great Culver City neighborhood coffee house. When David Trygstad and his family opened The Conservatory it was one of the first specialty coffee shops in town. They roast right in the shop and AJ, the master roaster, makes a mean bean. They are known for their “Latte Art” – the lovely designs they top your latte as a finish with the steamed milk.
Being a family-run place, it has kept its neighborhood feel. Many loyal patrons have been hanging at The Conservatory since it opened 11 years ago. Little groups of friends have formed over the years – and you can join in lively conversations about everything from boxing to politics.
